What the court heard
He was found guilty of murder in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, on 1 August 2019. He had been drinking with his victim and another man when he stabbed him once to the chest with a kitchen knife. His victim suffered a wound which pierced his heart and he died later in hospital.
