What the court heard
He was found guilty of murder in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, on 2 July 2019. He was found guilty of the attempted murder of a 9-year-old child and assaulting an emergency worker. He was found not guilty of wounding with intent and unlawful wounding. He used kitchen knives to attack his wife in the bedroom at their home. His 42-year-old victim suffered multiple stab wounds and died at the scene. The judge said: "Whatever the reason, there is no doubt but that you flew into an uncontrollable bloody-minded rage and nothing, and no one was going to stop you from killing your wife that day"
