What the court heard
He was found guilty of rape, attempted rape, sexual assault, false imprisonment, causing or encouraging prostitution for gain, encouraging prostitution of a girl under 16, supplying a Class A drug (heroin), assault occasioning actual bodily harm (ABH), indecent assault and living off the earnings of prostitution between 1993 and 2013. He pleaded guilty (during trial) to living off the earnings of prostitution and supplying drugs between September 1999 and November 2002. He was found not guilty of further counts of rape, sexual assault, false imprisonment, assault causing actual bodily harm (ABH) and a count of indecency with a child.
