What the court heard
He was found guilty of manslaughter and assault occasioning actual bodily harm (ABH) in Erith, south-east London, on 19 October 2019. He was found not guilty of murder and attempted murder. He had been drinking in his home when he witnessed his victims cause damage to the wing mirror of his vehicle (Toyota Prius). He drove his vehicle after his victims before mounting the pavement and crashing into them. His 26-year-old victim fell to the ground and he drove over him, dragging his body under the car for several metres. His victim died of his injuries on 22 October 2019. The judge said: "This was a grotesque and wholly unwarranted overreaction to minor damage having been caused to your vehicle"
