What the court heard
He was found guilty of murder in Adamsdown, Cardiff, on 1 September 2015. He had pleaded guilty to manslaughter. He was originally sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 8-years for inflicting grievous bodily harm (GBH) with intent. He had been found not guilty of attempted murder. His victim died in hospital aged 36-years-old on 9 November 2017.
