What the court heard
He pleaded guilty to wounding or causing grievous bodily harm (GBH) with intent in Homerton, east London, on 21 February 2020. He forced his way into his ex-partners home and attacked her 24-year-old male friend. He stabbed his male victim multiple times and stabbed his ex-partner who had attempted to stop the attack. He then fled the scene and later contacted the police from his home and admitted the attack. The court heard that he and his wife were together for 15 years before she filed for divorce in October 2019.
