What the court heard
He was found guilty of attempted murder in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, on 25 February 2020. He had met his 18-year-old cousin for a drink at a pub and they were walking across a park towards his mothers home when he carried out an unprovoked attack. He pushed her to ground and used a kitchen knife to stab his victim multiple times to the face, neck and back. His victim lost consciousness and he fled the scene.
