What the court heard
He was found guilty of murder in Worlaby, North Lincolnshire, on 6 May 2019. He used a dressing gown cord to strangle his wife at their home. He had pleaded guilty to manslaughter. The judge said: "It is clear having heard all of the evidence that everyone ... knew her as a loyal, loving, caring long-suffering wife who was true to her vows... You were an overbearing, violent, domineering, aggressive husband and father."
