What the court heard
He was found guilty of murder in Stratford, east London, on 10 October 2019. He had pleaded guilty to manslaughter and unlawful wounding. He was armed with a knife and was wearing a latex glove and a balaclava when he stabbed his 15-year-old victim twice in the chest twice while he was on a bus. His victim fled the bus but collapsed nearby. His victim suffered puncture wounds to his lung and heart and died at the scene. The court heard that the motive for the attack was a trivial exchange on Snapchat which had started weeks earlier before an inter-school football match.
