What the court heard
He was found guilty of murder in Birmingham, West Midlands, on 16 March 2020. He had previously fought with his friend when he used a kitchen knife to carry out an unprovoked attack on his victim. He stabbed his victim to his chest and leg. His 34-year-old victim suffered a wound which pierced his heart and he died at the scene. The judge said: "You ran to room five, approached the victim and quickly stabbed him three times, twice through the left side of his chest and once to the top of the left thigh... I have no doubt when you entered room five you intended to kill him."
