What the court heard
She was found guilty of murder in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, on 6 March 2020. She used boiling water to deliberately scald her baby daughter at their home and failed to seek help. Her 19-month-old victim suffered 65% burns and was pronounced dead at hospital.
