What the court heard
He was found guilty of murder in Salisbury, Wiltshire, on 1 June 2020. He used a lock knife to attack his 40-year-old wife and 18-year-old daughter at their home. He stabbed his victims repeatedly and cut their throats. His victims died at the scene. The court heard that he wrongly believed his wife was having an affair and that he was also jealous of their close relationship. He had pleaded guilty to manslaughter by reason of diminished responsibility. A Polish interpreter was required in the case.
