What the court heard
He was found guilty of robbery, possession of a firearm at the time of committing an offence (sawn off shotgun), possession of a bladed article (machete) and possessing an offensive weapon (baseball bat) in Moss Side, Greater Manchester, on 12 January 2019. He pleaded guilty to possession of a firearm and possession of ammunition in Withington, Greater Manchester, in September 2021. The judge said: "This was clearly a brazen and planned robbery in broad daylight. You were all armed, you were all disguised - wearing dark clothing and masks ... two victims were brothers of well known professional footballers. You clearly targeted them for their expensive watches".
