What the court heard
He was found guilty of manslaughter on the A5 at Chirk in Shropshire on 2 December 2022. He had pleaded guilty to causing death by dangerous driving. The judge said: "You deliberately drove your car ... to cause a head-on collision with another vehicle and kill yourself... you decided to do this after the end of your relationship."
