What the court heard
He was found guilty of assault by penetration, sexual assault and causing a person to engage in sexual activity without consent. He was found not guilty of four further counts of sexual assault. He was working as a Child Protection Officer and Safeguarding Lead at a school in York, when he abused his position of trust to sexually assault twenty female pupils both in the UK and on school trips abroad over a four-year-period.
