What the court heard
He pleaded guilty to rape of a female child aged under 13-year-old in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, on 24 June 2023. The judge said: ..."[I]t would have been plain to you when you met her that she was significantly younger than 18... As a teacher, who would have been subject to safeguarding training, you should have been particularly alert to the risks"
